The Best Golf Driver Shafts

Best Golf Driver Shafts

Choosing a suitable driver can be a tough process.  It is absolutely important you choose a good driver that fits your needs and something you are comfortable with.  However, it is also essential you choose the right shaft for your golf driver.

For example, if you are a beginner or a golfer with a slower swing you will want to go with a regular flex shaft.  On the other hand if you are a more experienced golfer or have a faster swing you will choose a golf driver shaft with a stiffer flex.

Below you will find some of the best golf driver shafts out there right now.  There is a wide variety for different price ranges and different skill levels.  Hopefully you find one that is perfect for you!

RIP Technology repositions the materials and patterns to optimize the performance characteristics of the shaft. The Phenoms Hyperbolic Flex Zone provides a stiff tip section for optimal launch and spin control with a very firm butt section for an incredibly stable feel, while the center section of the shaft is softer to provide outstanding kick through impact to maximize ball speed. Through the use of computer modeling technology and exclusive carbon fiber materials, Aldila completely turned golf shaft design and performance inside out. RIP Technology provides a shaft design with optimum flex and torque characteristics with increased cross-sectional stability throughout the tip area for greater shot control. Through the use of a Hyperbolic Flex Zone, the new RIP Phenom incorporates the same flex, torque and feel properties that have made the original RIP the leading shaft on the PGA Tour, with a flex profile to achieve unparalleled performance and launch characteristics for better players.

Fujikura Motore F1 75

Fujikura Motore F1 80 Wood Shaft Featuring H.I.T. Technology (High Inertia Tip), the Fujikura Motore F1 Wood Shaft stores more energy during your downswing and releases that energy before impact, all while maintaining stability. Smart Shaping on the internal tip section of the shaft raises the balance point and increases tip stiffness. The F1 plays to a golfer who needs a higher launching ball and provides optimal spin, which gives you more control.

Grafalloy Pro Launch Red

Grafalloy ProLaunch Red Wood Shaft with Speed Coat The new ProLaunch Red Wood Shaft, featuring Grafalloys proprietary Speed Coat technology, delivers even lower launch angels and spin rates than the original iconic ProLaunch Red. Its reduced weight leads to increased ball speeds for maximum distance. It is designed for stronger swingers seeking a flatter, penetrating trajectory with reduced spin rates.

Graphite Design G Series

Graphite Design G Series 50 Wood Shaft The Graphite Design G Series Wood Shaft introduces X Directional Technology (XDT). This technology is derived from multiple years of Research and Development of todays design features in equipment, golf balls and numerous hours of shaft testing on Tour and with avid players. XDT incorporates the use of the already proven Graphite Design MSI (Material Stiffness Integration) design method as well as this new and unique application of graphite fiber alignment throughout the shaft structure. During the development phase of XDT, measurable performance gains were discovered through a more balanced distribution of the graphite fibers within the plies of the shaft design. This proprietary application of XDT has made the new G Series the most balanced, versatile high performance golf shaft available today. Specifications: Kickpoint: Mid Weight: 59 – 60.5 grams Tip Diameter: .335 in.

Mitsubishia Rayon Fubuki

Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki K-Series 50 Wood Shaft The profile of the Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki K-Series Wood Shaft, with its firm tip section and mid section, and soft butt section, allows golfers of all skill levels to generate the highly sought after high-launch, low spin shot shape needed to maximize both carry and roll. By incorporating Power in.Ninja in. Core into this design, it has allowed Mitsubishi Rayon to rid the shaft of the harsh feel associated with traditional tip firm profiles.

Miyazaki Kusala

Miyazaki Kusala Series Black 61 Wood Shaft The Miyazaki Kusala Series Black 61 Wood Shaft maximizes feel and performance while offering unprecedented fitting options. The precision-flex profile provides stability and consistency, with a notably smooth and stable feel. The Kusala Black produces a lower, penetrating trajectory. The tip section is the stiffest in the Kusala Series.

Project X Black

Project X Black Wood Shaft The new Project X Black features reduced weight from the original Project X graphite for explosive power while preserving critical tip stability and low spin performance. Featuring proprietary Dual Torsional Control, Project X Black reduces spin rates at impact for optimized peak trajectory with flatter descent angles for maximum carry and roll.
